2. 表示地點“從……”

3. 表示“離……”
be far from sth. 離……遠
The railway station is far from here．
火車站離這里很遠 。

4. 表示“來自……”“從……來”
be from+地點
come from+地點
be from+sb. 是某人送的、寄的
He comes from China. /He is from China.
他來自中國 。
The grammar book is from my uncle.
這本語法書是我叔叔送的 。
The letter is from my pen pal.
這封信是我的筆友寄來的 。
be different from 與……不同
from now on 從現在開始
from then on 從那時起
be absent from 缺席，不在
be tired from sth.因為……而疲勞，勞累
be made from sth. 由……制成（看不出原材料）
judging from sth. 從……判斷
be away from 離開……
